Our new foster boy

Our new Foster Kitty arrived on Thursday Night
He is an F1 Bengal boy.
When we let him out of the carrier he was very scared
Here, he is peeking at his new room-mate, Snowdrop
He is a tiny and very pretty little boycat As Snowdrop watched him, calmly -
He POUFFED his tail.

Hopefully he will get used to us, and start enjoying

being here at the Fancidots house.

Oooo ... I love his fancy dots! He'll fit in just fine with you all once he's gotten over the stress of his journey!

aghh that is so beautiful ! I can relate to this blog. We are also enjoying our cats and they are our children. Now that we retired we have time to breed our own baby kittens and never a dull moment. I could not wait to tell you how lovely the bengal is, now I will read the rest of your blog. By the way, please visit our kitties at my cat site.

Hello,
Is your new foster boy looking for a home? We just lost one of our Bengals, she took off and was never seen again. We think she may have been stolen (long weekend - perhaps somebody traveling through) because when she got out before she was back in the morning. Her sister still misses her and is quite depressed. We have a home waiting for another playful Bengal. We have a young child as well. You may contact me at gilles.charette@gmail.com if you think this may be a good match.

Hi Gilles (and other blogger friends)

We must regretfully say -- our little foster kitty "Lucas aka Louie" will most likely be a long-term resident, here with us.

He does NOT get along with other kitties, very well - and we ARE working on that, by allowing him to have ONLY supervised play time with our permanent pets.

This little F1 boy was moved around too many times - and he had lost his trust in ANYONE human.

I've been working with him, for MONTHS - and he is just beginning to trust me enough to come into my lap occasionally, in persuit of a toy or treat.

He is so beautiful, it breaks our heart to keep him so isolated, but we promised the nice lady who surrendered him to us, that if he didn't calm down and be more accepting of people and other animals, that he would be kept SAFE here for life.

We do have a beautiful little girl, Regale, who is a little older than Louie, spayed and four-paw declawed, who does well with other animals, and though shy at first, LOVES to be petted.

She is a special needs girl, because she has a low grade heart murmur. She is pretty and sweet and much more "adoptable" particularly to a family with children, than little Louie.

He's beautiful. Your description of how scared he was reminds me of our Linus. Keep up the good work.
