Update on "Louie"

Louie is doing GREAT !!!
He LOVES to PLAY!!!

Louie is still with me, as I have decided to allow him to be the new "forever" pet in our home.

Mr Zenith isn't thrilled, but is accepting of his new house-mate.

It took a long time, to get Louie to trust me, but now his favorite part of the day, is when I come to PLAY with him, Regale and Vashtie, in their special room.

Our new foster boy

Our new Foster Kitty arrived on Thursday Night
He is an F1 Bengal boy.
When we let him out of the carrier he was very scared
Here, he is peeking at his new room-mate, Snowdrop
He is a tiny and very pretty little boycat As Snowdrop watched him, calmly -
He POUFFED his tail.

Hopefully he will get used to us, and start enjoying

being here at the Fancidots house.

Drinking fountains and cat wheels

HI, It's been a long time since I posted here, so I thought I would put up a couple of photos of my cats' favorite things This is their water faucet drinking fountain Here, Zenith shows how it is used :) And this is the new Exercise Wheel -- Dagger LOVES it!
The other's haven't quite got the hang of it, yet
but they're watching him closely when he runs on it.
He likes to SING when he runs !

Valentine's Day is coming soon!

We have several kitties in our home, who have boyfriends or girlfriends from CATSTER! Mr Zenith is in love with the beautiful Miss Taffy Morgana Victoria is in love with the handsome and magical Merlin Lightnin is in love with Charlie and Dagger is in love with LUCY. You can see them all on CATSTER, or see links to their pages on Zenith's page http://zenithsays.blogspot.com/ Poor Casper, Emma, Hatter, Moonlight and Tiger don't have sweethearts - But hope to have sweethearts of their own, by Valentine's day, next year!

Happy January 2007 to all!

Emma found the lanyard for my badge, and turned it into a chew toy. Dagger Flirts mercilessly - to get my attention and a belly rub See his pretty gold spotted belly?

Meanwhile Zenith KILLS his bear, after turning over the bedroom trash bin. Dagger sometimes takes naps on top of my curio cabinet :)

Since I allowed Zenith to get his own blog, he hardly ever gives me a chance to write in my own.

I'm kept busy "serving" my wonderful pride of cats, and working to FEED them and keep a warm comfortable spot for them to live. And, naturally, half of them being Bengals, there MUST be PLAY time, every day, or they misbehave. There is nothing as DETERMINED as a Bored Bengal!

MIA - F4 Bengal - adopted through Deep South BCR

This is MIA. She is an Early Generation (F4) Bengal who was turned in to Bengal Cat Rescue Network. I am currently fostering her in my home. She is 2 years old, lives INDOORS ONLY and needs other feline playmates. Wouldn't it be nice if I could find her a new home, for Christmas? UPDATE !!! Mia has been adopted by a wonderful family, and has gone to live with them!!!

Another Foster Bengal has found his home!

This is BUDDY. He is a Bengal I rescued from the Mobile Alabama area. He is a beautiful and friendly boy. He was only with me a couple of weeks, and already he has been placed in a WONDERFUL home, with a gentleman who also helps me with Bengal Cat Rescue Network, in our region. He was so taken with Buddy -- that he decided to adopt him, and make him his OWN pet!

Happy Howl-ooo-ween Everyone!

Happy HOWL -- OO -- WEEN! Zenith would much rather make "scary faces" than have to wear a costume. He was "chirping" for his sparkle toy, in this photo! Dagger agreed to WEAR his hat, but insisted on doing it HIS WAY !! Hatter is a HUGE cat, but such a mama's baby -- he even allowed mommy to velcro the little leopard jacket closet, and put up the HOODIE... so he would look more like the BENGAL family members! Tiger is the "grand old man" of the house, and will, on occasions co-operate with mommy - IF he thinks a treat or some catnip might be involved! SO -- Here are a few of the cats in our home, entertaining our mommy with their barely veiled tolerance of her attempts to make some Halloween Family Photos!

Foster Kitten "Owen" RESCUE

I would like to introduce you to our little foster kitten "Owen" He was in a city pound, about 100 miles from where I live. He was destined for euthanization, the following week, if I had not made a somewhat "sappy" effort to keep this beautiful sweet kitten from being destroyed. I believe he may have been from a back-yard breeder, who turned him it to the pound, rather than dealing with a little "umbilical cord hernia". YES... I KNOW his ears are big. But his coat is beautiful, and his personality is precious. A VERY LOVING little fellow... for whom I hope to find a good and loving home.

Dagger and Emma's Birthday Party - part 2

After getting some "night air" They came inside for some rousing games of 'catch the deer mouse on a string' Then Dagger and Zenith got to go fishing, again! At the end of the evening - everyone was very tired -- "specially" mommy! Who's party is NEXT???

Dagger and Emma's Birthday Party - part 1

Dagger and Emma had a birthday party -- They had some "alone time" with mommy and a tub with some fishies - Then their buddies joined in the fun Everyone got a full belly Went out on the porch for some night air (continued part 2)

Dagger and Emma DEMAND equal time!

I just realized today is Dagger and Emma's 2nd BIRTHDAY... and the LEAST I could do, is to post a couple of VERY recent photos of them, here. (I'm sure I'll be taking more after work, tonight -- but these will have to do, for now. Dagger has the sweetest disposition of any cat I've ever seen. He is so gentle and he "LOVES" his mommy. Sometimes his facial expressions "SAY IT ALL" Emma is simply too smart for her furry little britches, sometimes -- and a real "Daddy's girl" -- she LOVES my son - and only comes to me, if he isn't available...and she wants me to turn on the water in my tub, for a "fresh drink" but I still adore the little cutie!

Mr Zenith discovers the top of my curio cabinet

All my Bengals LOVE high places, the curio cabinet has been the "older" Bengials' refuge from "baby Zenith" until just a few days ago. Then one day, a bug was on the ceiling. Emma and Lightnin hopped up on top of the curio, hoping the bug would come in that direction... and Mr.Zenith decided to join them. Now he knows how to get there. Uh OH....

Mr Zenith Helps Mom at computer?

For ALL the mischief Mr. Zenith gets into -- he still makes sure he lets me know how much he loves me, when I'm on the computer, and it simply seems he can't get CLOSE enough!

Casper, Lightnin and Hatter

Casper and Lightnin like the smaller cozy which they have to SQUEEZE into. While HATTER likes to fold himself on one of the little blankets that isn't such a "tight fit".

Victoria confident comfort

Being one of the "elder" Bengal Girls in the family, Victoria often relaxes in one of the "cozy beds" and watches the youngsters in confident comfort while the youngsters LOOK for mischief.

Just Chillin'

A couple more photos of Mister Zenith taken recently at "bath time / nap time" with his buddy Casper in the background.

Hooray!! Snowbelle found her "forever" home!

The sweet Snow Bengal I've been fostering for almost a year finally found a home in a quite "UNIQUE" WAY, last weekend, at a local cat show. I took her to the show and had a sign on her cage, which said "Snowbelle for Adoption" A WONDERFUL lady named Judy came by, and Snowbelle spoke to her, as she was walking by. She turned and had a "conversation" with Snowbelle" and adopted her, on the spot! I heard from Judy, this week, and they seem to be a perfect match. She took back the name they had used at the shelter I fostered her "Snowdrop" and has totally wrapped Judy around her dainty paws.

A few new photos

Mister Zenith is up to his usual antics. Today he discovered I forgot to HIDE and LOCK UP the toilet paper. Then, while I was TRYING to download the photos of that little "mess" -- he tried to get my soft drink (which I've learned to put in SPORT BOTTLES to avoid spills.) OBVIOUSLY when I took the bottle away from him... he proclaimed INNOCENCE!

More Birthday Party Photos

Since Mister Zenith, Dagger and Emma love the water so much, I put some water in the tub and threw in some toys... and the games ensued! Dagger likes to stand in the water and push the toys over to Zenith and Emma... but eventually Zenith had to try out the tub, too

Happy First Birthday Mister Zenith

Mister Zenith is really growing, isn't he!

Bailey, my son's cat

This is the lovely miss Bailey. She was raised as an only cat, and when my son moved back home, and brought her along, she wasn't too sure about all the other "furry" creatures in her new home. She has learned to love Casper, Emma and Lightnin. She plays well with Snowbelle, when she is allowed our for petting and exercise. The others, mainly the BOYS, she isn't too fond of. She particularly loves to terrorize our biggest boy, Hatter. They have a love-hate relationship. Lots of hissing and growling, but no real WARS... Posted by Picasa
